Year in Review
Every year, one chapter. A living record of the McGee family โ who we are, what we built, and what we're grateful for.

A wedding in the mountains. A honeymoon in Thailand. A baby on the way. The loss of Bentley. A new home chapter in Queen Creek. 2026 was the year the McGee family became official โ and grew in every direction.
In the mountains of Greer, surrounded by everyone they love, Ben and Brittney became the McGees. A Christian ceremony, mountain air, and the beginning of everything official.
Found out in late December 2025, weeks after returning from Thailand. The best possible wedding gift. The nursery is ready. The family is ready. The name is TBD.
Levi's golden birthday. Finishing 1st grade. About to start 2nd. About to become a big brother. A year of firsts for a kid who handles everything with more grace than most adults.
10ยฝ years. Brittney's service animal, shadow, and best friend. He was at the wedding. He crashed the proposal. He left loved. The house is quieter. The hearts are fuller for having had him.
A baby shower invite that became a full family legacy website. Gallery, timeline, our story, letters to the kids, and a custom domain. Something for future generations to find.
All of life is all for Jesus. The McGees are Christians โ not perfectly, not quietly, but genuinely. Faith first. Family always. Forever.
2026 was the year we became official. Ben and Brittney got married on a mountain in Greer, flew to Thailand, came home newlyweds, and found out a baby was on the way โ all in the span of about six weeks. If you had told us a year ago where we'd be standing, we might not have believed you.
We lost Bentley in April. That one still hurts in ways we don't always have words for. He was there from the beginning of Brittney's story โ long before Ben, long before Levi. He was at the wedding. He jumped in the lake during the proposal. He was the goodest boy until the very end.
But grief and gratitude can coexist. And this year had both in abundance. Levi turned seven on the seventh. Baby McGee is coming. The family is bigger and louder and more full of love than it's ever been.
Thank you for being part of it. For the RSVPs, the prayers, the messages, the presence. Faith. Family. Forever โ we mean it.
Baby McGee will be walking by then. Levi will be in 3rd grade. Ben will have his BA. And the McGee story will have a whole new chapter to tell.
