Bentley was a golden retriever in every sense of the word — golden in color, golden in spirit, and golden in the way he made Brittney feel like the most important person in every room he walked into. He was her constant. Her comfort. Her best friend. He served as Brittney's service animal — a role he was born for and carried with quiet, unwavering devotion.
He came into Brittney's life as a puppy — long before Ben, long before Levi — and spent 10 and a half years being exactly what a dog should be: loyal beyond measure, endlessly gentle, and completely devoted to the person he loved. He was there through every season of Brittney's life, and when the time came, he left the same way he lived: peacefully, and surrounded by love.
He was at the wedding. He crashed the proposal — leaping into the lake at Riverview Park just as Ben got down on one knee. He was there for Levi's first years. He was there for all of it. And when he left on April 9, 2026, he left a space that nothing else will ever quite fill.
Bentley passed on April 9, 2026. He was 10 and a half years old. The house is quieter without him. But his paw prints are everywhere — on the floors, on the furniture, and permanently on the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Bentley crashes the proposal 💍
Ben got down on one knee at Riverview Park at sunset — and Bentley leapt straight into the lake. Ben pulled a dripping golden retriever out of the water with one hand and held an engagement ring with the other. Brittney said yes anyway.

Bentley is at the wedding 💒
Bentley was there — present at the wedding in Greer, Arizona, exactly where he belonged. A good boy until the very end.

Bentley passes peacefully 🌅
10½ years old. Loved completely. Held, and at rest. Just as he deserved.
